Right now, slaves are working on cocoa farms in West Africa. Many of them are children. Tony’s Chocolonely exists to change that.
Tony’s Chocolonely’s growth runs at 50% per year and production is struggling to keep up with that strong pace. Tony’s plans to build their own chocolate factory in Amsterdam which will create the capacity needed for the future. But as Tony’s mission is to make cocoa slave free it cannot afford to miss the opportunity of using the factory in their communication. The factory will include a Tony’s Experience in which the visitors learn about cacao production, how chocolate is made, the slavery-problem, what Tony’s is doing about it and all of this in an engaging tour. See attached film.
